I learn quickly from books, but I found myself shaking my head after being turned round and round in what felt like a multitude of directions. They say the same thing in different ways - there is no consistency.Ĭonsistency in terminology and presentation, and clarity are necessary aspects of a teaching guide. They sometimes refer you back to a previous lesson with vague instructions, not telling you what to look for, when instead they could have included the needed info in the table itself. The tables don't follow a consistent wording or designation system. It seems it tries to follow the "For Dummies" approach (which I generally like for simplicity) but it doesn't follow a logical path through the material, and I found needed bits and pieces of information were scattered throughout the text with no easy way provided to find them again - such as NO Index! How does the author or publisher expect a reader to easily navigate around a book laid out like this without an Index?
